Well the weather this week has been like a fiddlers elbow, up and down.

So given it was my week off, I have ducked and dived, dodged and weaved.

And managed to come up with the following minor bits of entertainment:

The Traverse of the Entreve was done by Mike Peascod early this week, great route from the Torino hut, or on your way to the hut.

4th July Voucher Route on the Peigne, sounded like it was in ok conditions, dry rock for the most part.

30th June Dent Du Geant, just be careful low down with the ropes, other than that it is what it is.

29th June Frendo Spur, lower section rocks ok, dryish; upper snow section sounded like it was in a shocking state.

So as we all know, you’re going to have to take the above info with a pinch of salt, because  after the last few days of weather action, it’s all going to have changed quite a bit. Do your research….

We had 40 cm of snow at Col Maudit last Tuesday and a few cm’s more since then.

The forecast is due to improve over the week, dry, warmer, but still with the possibility of afternoon storms.

Looks like the MANZENO RIDGE team are doing well, check out the web site MANZENORIDGE.COM  for more info and updates, it’s an epic trip.

I haven’t taken any pics this week, so have included some randoms.

I’m back to work at the weekend, with a Chamonix Intro for ADVENTURE PEAKS, then back to back for the next few weeks. Will keep you all posted as to what’s going down out there.
