Just a quick update on what’s been going down over the past few weeks. I’ve been working on the final stages of the rope access job in Sheffield, which we have now completed. Thanks to Pete “Baldy locks” Stapley, Gav “ The Baron “ Mc Crae, and Will “cockle picker” Mallaby for their wit and enthusiasm, a great team to work with, also Jamie Williams, site manager, for looking after us, and doing a great job at housekeeping, and taking some fantastic pics.

Conditions in Scotland look to be improving all the time, especially with all this new snow. Do make sure you check the Avo forecast before venturing out.

The Alps are good as well, with some good ascents going down over the past few months, and some great skiing.

I’m off to Morocco at the end of Jan for a couple of weeks, working for Adventure Peaks, it’s a mountaineering/climbing based couple of weeks. Looking forward to getting back there, I had a great time there last year, will be taking a few bits of newish kit with me from Haglofs and Arctyrex, so will give you an update as to how they got on when I get back. Will then be heading for Scotland once I’m back.

So folks stay warm, throw another log on the fire, do your research and have fun out there.

See you when I get back from Morocco early Feb.
