Saturday (3rd April) sees me back on the plane again - this time heading for Kathmandu. It's a hard life!

Having stepped down from leading the Everest Summit Expedition, I will be leading a group on what should be a fantastic trip up to the North Col 7032m and then we bag the Tibetan peak Lhakpa Ri 7045m which gives the most amazing views across to Everest. We even get a couple of days in Lhasa at the end of the trip.

We'll be flying out with the main Everest team, travelling overland from Kathmandu along the Silk Road into Tibet and up to Base Camp. Our route takes the East Rongbuk Glacier to Advance Base Camp, before striking out for the North Col

Base Camp now has full communication set-up, so I'll keep you updated on our progress.
